What's Brunswick stew? It's a southern thing made like a stew but with chicken used as the meat. I don't care for it myself.

We ran out of freezer space in my big upright in my kitchen so last weekend we went and bought a 12.1 cubit foot small upright. Today my DH said if I don't slow down on freezing stuff this one will be full soon too. :smack

Today I froze 8 quarts of speckled butter beans and 8 quarts of peaches, 1 gallon of whole bell peppers.

I think it's time to pull them. I pulled mine a few weeks ago, they were starting to look rough. Maybe you could plant a fall veggie in it's place.

It sound like you had a very productive day. I pay 2.50 a lb for Blackberries here. We are leaving for SC in the morning, I hope to go to the state farmers market to see what kind of goodies I can bring back with me. We will be stopping in McBee SC on the way back and getting 4 boxes of Peaches...

Most bulbs are planted in the fall so they will bloom in the spring. Buy them and keep them in a paper bag in a dark clost till fall and plants them then.

As long as I keep them fertilized and watered they will keep producing, they are already well over 7 or 8 ft tall.
