    I'm with bluerose on this one. I read that the fruit flies hatch off the fruit. That their eggs are already on the fruit and hatch as the fruit ripen.

    Wow-it look yummy! and I love the brick wall behind your stove. I have one wall that is brick(used to be exterior wall) in my kitchen and I love the rustic look it gives.

    Gottcha!! No I'm not eating sumac, but I will be trying that Sumac lemonade recipe. Thank you FRESHFOOD for sending me 3 beautiful sumac plants, all the way from NY. ...you could have kept the poison ivy...just sayin' lol There was a tiny 3 leaf wonder sprouting out of one of the dirt clumps...

    Herbs growers?

    I haven't started herb beds yet, but I plan to next season-always next season-lol Right now I just plant my herbs in my flower beds between my roses and perennials. Chives, Basils, Thyme, Rosemary and more. They do wonderfully and add interest to my beds.
