    finished another batch of tomato canning last night. 12 quarts. today will be warmer, mid-to-high 70s, pretty much the rest of the week too into the low 80s again. no rains, i'll do some watering today and tomorrow.

    there's no frost warning in the weather forecast but when walking back from taking out the trash there's frost on the roof of the house... brr! no frost on the grass or plants down lower. the weather station says it got down to 42F, that's quite a difference.
