picked four buckets of tomatoes and another bucket of rejects that got buried. will be canning some of these tonight.
tomatoes are so sweet the ants are going after them. first time i've seen that. maybe also because it has been dry... hmm...
some cool nights coming now for sure with the lowest getting down to 41F, but daytime warmth comes back next week with at least a few days in the mid-70sF. no rain in our 7day forecast at the moment.
fish eat fish all the time. it's not wrong to dispose of wastes in places where the fish are there and will eat it.
it is wrong to do it close enough to shore to cause a problem for beaches and swimming. i don't know what the regulations are in that area...
as for why they won't be doing...
the first link doesn't say anything about specific vendors, just lists varieties.
sad that Stark would not put it right in there about them not shipping some plants they advertise and talk about as being for CA. *ptooey!*
what big box stores do you have around your area?
i'm sure there have always been rules and laws about passengers and passports. now if someone were wanting to run a smuggling ring that's a whole different issue and not something that is talked about in public. i know nothing about it other than what the news reports.

sad that they do that dumping close to shore. maybe they've been doing it for so long that they don't even think about it any more...
i have flats within flat stacked up in the corner which makes storage very efficient. i always look for ones that can be added to the stacks. :)
:)
interesting, will take some time to digest.
other beans in that study too which i've grown and seen outcrosses and chaos (aka life goes on :) ) so it is like seeing old friends gathering and chattering together. :)
i'm trying to get the known UCD beans growing here but this has been a...
55F this morning, trash day due to holiday so had to go out in the frozen tundra, well, ok, it felt like it was frozen out there... sunny, warm today with nearly 80F forecast.
it was dry and hot for several weeks but we did get some rains eventually. i'm mostly done watering for the season as i want the beans to dry down and i don't want the flavor of the tomatoes to be watered down either. peppers seem to do ok no matter what. we do have some chances of rain...
