It's supposed to rain here today too and be super windy.

My story was don't try to grow chives if you have a really bad slug problem. The chives I plantrd grew to be a quarter inch tall and then one night the slugs came through and mowed them down!

I LOVE all of your pumpkins! I grew some pumpkins a couple of times. Once one of my daughters picked one that I grew and made a pumpkin pie at age 8!!!

You should try the ARP rosemary variety. It can withstand temps down to negative 10 farenheit!

I was so excited yesterday because my oldest daughter bought her first real plant!!!! My other daughter loves plants and flowers as I do and always has, but my oldest daughter never had that interest. She got a rosemary plant for her balcony. I love it!

Same here! The snow collected in big drifts blocking our driveway and front door! We did get to build an enormous snowman tho!

We barely got a sprinkle! There was quite a bit of wind though! Nothing to be envious of! 🙂

Speaking of leaves blowing, years ago we lived in a cul-de-sac at the very center of the curve. Every fall, all of our neighbor's leaves piled up deep in our driveway and front lawn! It was so much work bagging up everyone's leaves along with our own!! Oh, the joys of suburbia!

I always grow only organic veggies. I love many of the "weeds" out there! They can be more delicious than the stuff you buy at your typical grocery store!
