Took my coffee on the road this morning to have my tires rotated. It's Always that I don't remember When I did it last, and I don't want to have problems in a few months when the snow hits.
Also, I ordered online yesterday and picked up:
1) 1st location, a bag of 10 rubber washers for my hoses...seem to be out, and seemed silly to pick just that up from the back of the farm supply store
2) Lowes, picked up 2 bags of under paver gravel dust for Eva's grave and stone, and the screw on attachment so that the dishwasher coming NOW on Oct. 15th, will work.

i have learned to break the bread into smaller chunks before microwaving because the crust gets too hard and rubbery if i wait until after. in the bowl this morning was that broken up bread and then a spoonful of peanut butter and topped with yogurt that had a few blueberries mixed in it. that was breakfast.

That sounds good
I like to make up my own recipes and toppings.

I wouldn't break up bread and microwave but I like the thought of peanut butter yogurt and blueberries 😋

the crust of the bread turns into rubber in the microwave. makes it very hard to cut with the spoon as you are eating. just trying to get ahead of the curve on the serve and all that... :)

yes, blueberries and peanut butter is pretty good, the yogurt helps add some tart interest.

I once tried microwaving an egg as I ran out of cooking oil and didn't want to boil it. It was pretty gross and rubbery!

Microwaved egg? You can do it, @Dahlia .

Scrambled. Only takes a few seconds for 1 egg. You had better stay and look through the glass with a finger poised to turn it off because, it is so likely to explode!

One egg. I am much more likely to make it in the skillet as a "toad in a hole." Butter or margarine. I used to make grilled cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise on both of the bread but that much mayo is too salty for my tastes now that I have joined DW in her avoidance of salt.
