as we get older we only have so many brain cells and they need to remember what we already learned. it's tough to learn new things and to not be stuck in our ways... i've kept learning that, but it is a hard slogggg (which rhymes with grogggg).

weather forecast went from dry to rains for the next several days, which isn't great for me but a help to all the plants and animals in our area.

wow, this weather forecast has gone from great to the opposite in only a couple of days. while the beans that are just developing might do ok as a result all the dry beans i don't have already harvested might be ruined. a mixed bag this season for sure... i did get a lot of dry beans picked...

i normally used about 1/4-1/3rd of a bucket of worm compost/worms for each tomato plant. always have had pretty good production.

i have a guitar with a broken string. not been fixed for years... i have many shelves of beans and other garden stuff in my room and i've done 100 times more with it than the guitar. i'm garden coordinated not finger coordinated and brain coordinated to make guitar easy enough for me to ever...

tomatoes canned and extras usually enjoyed with some butter on them. :) extra peppers (green, red, mixed, and some hot too) if any left over i always enjoy eating raw or cooked. onions we have plenty of.

we have some rain that might get us in a bit... watching while doing other things... :) yes, it has actually rained a few times and still might give us some more chances.

ok, my other post i just put up gives some explanations, but beyond the chances of crosses there are also things called mutations... that is what happens when the genes or other components of the cell are affected by radiation or some other event in the various processes and sometimes those...

as an example search out the pictures i've posted here in TEG about a bean i called Monster. :) it came to me via Dapple Grey from @Blue-Jay 's network or his other pages and when i planted those one plant spun off Monster, most of what i replanted from Monster spun off different bean lines...

a scale would always help so you know what sized you are looking at, plus a cross section for height (a picture from the side).

@SusanneinHastings Top Notch beans were our favorite wax beans for several years in a row. then i tried several other wax beans but none of them seemed to do as well as Top Notch.
