i don't find dill trickier other than it has so many seeds that some eventually will grow... leave enough flowers to go to seed.

picked some dry beans, a few tomatoes that were not split too bad and then some cosmo seeds. i'm trying to get a more yellow selection of the cosmos instead of the mix with the oranges and reds in there. Mom doesn't like orange flowers that much so we'll see if we can nudge them in the right...

i'm similar. just like to tell stories and give more things that other's can find ways to respond - a wandering conversation sitting on the porch or laying on the grass looking up at the stars.

i was able to get out for a few hours of bean picking today. :) i'm hoping i got two of the network bean numbers improved but won't know until they dry all the way down. whatever i did get the quality looks good. we might get a little rain here soon (right on the edge by the looks of it).

i hope it goes well, just remember it is easier to start smaller than larger and then see how it goes. after a few years all gardens seem to improve on weed control if you keep after them but it is always something that needs dealing with and with kids and animals involved it might be more than...

along the house may mean limited moisture or does it get watered regularly? the plant i was dealing with was in prime garden soil with plenty of compost, moisture and easy space to invade (the old strawberry patch).

any deeper planted seeds might be ok, but it does depend upon the layout of the garden too as a slope can get washed out... the shallower planted seeds could be covered with some burlap or old rags and then checked to see if they are sprouting once or twice a day to remove it. delaying a day...
