daikon radish last night, not sure i will get any more but they are out there if i do want them for something fresh.
last night i had one and made small slices of it and put it on crackers with some hot sauce - about a half dozen slices was hot enough for me. the rest of it i peeled which...
yes, it helps to write the title and artist down so we can go find a locally available version. :) not that i have a chance to do this anytime soon, i'm down for watching tv tonight for a change.
for those who don't care about computer stuff and/or don't wanna know you can skip this post... :)
otherwise i now assume you have given consent to be geeked at a bit about what's up...
i run Linux and i did my once in a great while update of my computer system and upgraded my Debian stable...
@heirloomgal those are certainly gorgeous looking beans. i hardly ever get those sizes and quality out of most of my beans here. just not great soil or local climate for them.
i'm glad Blaugraue looks so nice i often have little bits of compacted grau and not much Blau... since it is a...
corner garden (where most of the tulips are at now) is somewhat cleaned up, it could use some finer tuned weeding than what i was doing towards the end but it will be ok for now until i can get back to it next time we get a break in the weather.

and in the meantime California is finally getting some good rains to the south which also will probably be flooding in areas due to fires and mudslides and general mayhem. in the end though what i really hope for is a really big inflow to the Salton Sea and a lot of snow in the mountains for...
in looking again at Atlas this morning i'm thinking that if that bean had a few tiny eyes and a small nose above that mustach it would look like some guy singing. :) yeah, i'm strange, but it's morning... :)
@digitS' we get long periods of cloudy weather some winter season's where the sun isn't out much for quite a long time. my sister lives out west because she says that the gloom bugs her and the more sunny weather out west works much better. it doesn't bother me and i guess i am used to it the...

tomato garden mostly done other than filling in the trench all the way, but i have a neighboring garden with some weeds in it that i can use that same trench so leaving it open for now until i get to that one - possibly will be able to get it done tomorrow.
seeing plenty of worms in this garden...
last night's dreaming was strange and once again upon waking up i was telling myself that most of it was utterly routine and not interesting. the bit that was different was upsetting enough that i will not repeat it here but when i woke up i blamed Mom because of her episode of someone putting...
i was outside for a while today getting in some dirt therapy starting in on putting up the tomato garden. one trench dug and the leftover bean debris and some of the wild strawberry plants along the edge went in that and of course plenty of weeds.
tomorrow the weather will be even nicer (5F...
i don't count varieties any more because this year i planted a blend that has a lot, plus a lot of out-crosses which do not have names yet.
in my harvest so far i'm seeing about a dozen brown beans alone, and not sure how many of those are unique or not, most of them will probably just end up...
