@flowerbug Shading does help. I try to plant some varieties for morning sun/evening shade and some for morning shade/evening sun. Sometimes successful, sometimes not.

@Zeedman I try, but I'm not successful much of the time. I'm thinking of doing most of my growouts in the fall. The first freeze usually happens around Turkey Day, but sometimes we can get into December

@Zeedman My greens started to bolt, so out they came and I replaced them with Sierra Madre. We started a wooden trellis for them to climb, but not finished.

They are very capable machines within their realm. I mean, I wouldn't use one to plow 10 acres, but small garden wise, they can handle it with no problems. Finding implements can be tough sometimes. People use them as snow plows too. I have a Super C, but before I got it, I was looking for a cub.
