It looks like a squash plant to me . The big long stemmed flowers are male flowers soon you will see some that look like the picture I added below and that will grow into a squash if it’s pollinated .

They are very young only 3 true leaves . We just watered so the soil is damp but dries well during he day . There’s been really high humidity I guess that could be causing it but it’s not something on the leaves the brown spots are almost see trough they are so thin .

I’ve got a new type of watermelon called jubilee and several of my seedlings have this on the leaves anybody know what it is ?

Ok I found the ant hill surrounded it with DE and put GOBBS off Vaseline on the main stream and the teen that horse to the okra pods so far so good ! Keeping my fingers crossed .

@Ridgerunner l already contacted the extension office he said he’s had problems with ants and okra also he’s the one that suggested the DE. I looked in the morning at night with a flash light couldn’t find any thing other than ants on the okra they pile up in little like feeding frenzies then...

I tried the DE it didn’t work . @flowerbug what kind of hoppy concoction ? I’ll try anything. I originally thought aphids to but there aren’t any the ants just attack the okra and the flowers they have killed every single one !

I had such beautiful okra ! Then the ants came little black ants from HE!! ;( they are holes right trough them ! Has anybody else had this issue this year ?

I did mulch last week after you suggested it . I put mulch in the whole garden .

I can’t help with the rot I’ve had the same problem . The mildew on the other hand I had everywhere I mixed a solution of 1 gallon of water 2 tablespoons of baking soda and half a teaspoons of dish soap sprayed it all over the leaves and within 2 days it was all gone .

I feel like my garden went haywire in a week ;(. I’ve posted pictures below I found some kind of mold I’ve never seen on my zucchini this morning . Then weird yellow spots on the leaves of my pumpkin plant ! Then 5 million ants on my okra . And suggestions ?

Ok just wanted to update everybody the powdery mildew is gone I removed all the dead leaves and fruit added mulch and watered . They are already looking better and 2 even have new leaves and blooms growing so keeping my fingers crossed . Thanks everybody for all the advice !!

I did this and it’s almost completely gone it was great!!! Now just got figure out what’s killing the new fruit ;)

Ok I dug up a plant no grubs ! I’m really happy about that . A mix of water baking soda and a bit of dish soap took care of the powdery mildew . Tomorrow I’m going to add some compost around the stems that are now very exposed and mulch . I don’t know if it will help? ducks4you our soil is...

If it is grubs it’s only effecting my squash zucchini and peppers all the other plants are fine and the grass around the garden is really healthy .
