This weed runs amok all over. In the area the goats free range, it's not too much of a problem, they eat it. :lol: But in the areas I wish to turn into decorative/vegetable areas, I shall remove it. The pictures are not too good, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction...

About 3 weeks ago, I bought a garden blower/vac/mulcher gadget, and I have not been able to use it yet. We have had a lovely strong breeze ever since, the leaves go everywhere, but where you want them. Soon maybe soon.

I didn't know you could buy worm castings. You learn somethin new everyday.

I am sure you already know this, but Oleanders are poisonous, apparently even if you burn the prunings, the smoke is said to be toxic. Only what I have read, just thought I would mention it. But they are lovely.

I feel for you. I enjoy the wildlife on my land too, but fortunately it's big enough to accommodate all of us. I don't agree with feeding the animals though, as some one already said it makes them dependent. Maybe with regard to the squirrels and birds and things they feed, perhaps you...

I know what you mean, we have been trying to get the roadway cleared of weeds the last day or two we have had about 7 inches of rain aaaaaaagh we needed it, but it could have waited a day or two. Hope you get a break in your weather.

We get something very much like that growing here, only pale purple (mauve) in colour. Haven't seen any on my land yet, but next time I see some in flower, will get some pics and maybe we can see if it's the same plant.

Yep mine had already seeded. I tend to just let it see wherever it wants and pull what I don't want. I can't say I have ever noticed it grow back from the roots, but then again I haven't really looked. I have so much of it, it's a nuisance, wish I could give you some. :gig
