I'm with bluerose on this one. I read that the fruit flies hatch off the fruit. That their eggs are already on the fruit and hatch as the fruit ripen.

I am searching for 'something' for the center of my garden-so I purchased a winged lion-but decided it was too small. The hunt goes on. I have to say-I've never really like the garden nomes either-but then the other day I was in the store and they had one marked 1/2 price...I'm going back after...

Wow-it look yummy! and I love the brick wall behind your stove. I have one wall that is brick(used to be exterior wall) in my kitchen and I love the rustic look it gives.

I haven't started herb beds yet, but I plan to next season-always next season-lol Right now I just plant my herbs in my flower beds between my roses and perennials. Chives, Basils, Thyme, Rosemary and more. They do wonderfully and add interest to my beds.
