13 gallon bags of beets with 3 large bags of beet greens on top of them; 21 gallon bags of the Bolero Carrots. This is just about twice our normal “root crop haul”; thank you Lord! And i still need to dig potatos; which usually runs around 80lbs.

Year after year i show you these same Carrots, just not this many! The Bolero’s will be bagged and join the Beets tomorrow. Between the Carrots and the Beets i’m expecting the 2nd fridge will be full too! And then there’s my Alaskan Palm!

They are lunar white and white satin which id not recommend, 2/3 of them went straight to seed!

Each of the fruit trees get’s a couple gallons of fish emulsion in the spring along with 3-4lbs. of dry amendments then a drip timer delivers about a gallon of water everyday. Both the Comfrey and Raspberries get a similar treatment. This is one of the nicer ones with a hand for comparison...

Try a Minusk Lion! Several of us grew them this year, greenhouse or outdoors and even non Tomato growers got good results, very large good tasting fruit.

Perfect timing! Before noon yesterday i took the pumpkins and cut the potato vines and covered them. I’ll dig them in 2-3 weeks. Then i attempted to grind the one cutting from my new Comfrey patch which is still too wet so the hammer-mill just shredded it. Now it’s on the shop floor for a week...

The new hive was lifted into a pickup this morning and is setting up the hill at the intended location and i’ve got 3 strong helpers headed this way. The big thing was getting it out of the shop; making room for the other projects in the pipeline!
