We're not planning on eating the named rabbits until they outlive their usefulness.. but that should be several years in the future. We enjoy playing with them and loving on them for now. :)

They really are!! I go in a few times a day and pick each one up and hold and pet it, calling it by it's name. :-) I can't wait to get the enclosure done so we can hang cages and put them outside. :-D The kids are so excited about them. They can't wait to take them to the fair! LOL

When we were talking about the trade, she sent me to this site . And MyPetChicken sells hatching eggs for $75/6 $120/12... I had to pick up my jaw up off the floor when I seen the prices. She just wants some meat rabbits, which is what I'll have. It's not like I have super fancy expensive...

We have ours in small manila evelopes labeled with what they are, then they are stuffed into a gallon ziploc bag and stored in the freezer. The ones we'll be using this year are on the counter tho... LOL
