I just tip the lot into my compost heap and leave it for a few months then dig it out and spread it around. I have never turned a compost heap in my life. Just take the top unrotted stuff off to start the next heap.

If you freeze it raw it will go soggy when you defrost it. I haven't tried freezing it cooked. Have a look in the freezer department of your local store to see what you can/can't freeze.

Beware. I used to feed my hens loads of left over cooked vegatables and they loved it, but they started to lay thin shelled eggs because they were not eating the layers pellets.
