Thank you everyone. I am so glad she is doing better now also and I'm sure she is too. She had surgery on wednesday 8/2 came to stay with me for the one night and went home the next day.. Baby lilly is also doing well.

My daughter turned 26 yesterday. And to end the day with a bang she got married. She has been with her boyfriend for 8 years. Also they have a baby now. It was a short and sweet ceremony at our house.

Well when I started getting more eggs, I put up a covering over the next boxes. It seems to have worked. I havent gotten any more eggs with holes pecked in them. I got my first dozen eggs yesterday. It took 3 days, but I finally got it. LOL All the pullets laying the eggs are ISA'S my buff orps...

@Collector I have ceramic eggs in the boxes now. I'm also going to try putting burlap so they can't see inside the boxes.

I'm going to get some burlap hung up tomorrow. It should keep out enough light that they cant see, but not too hot in their nest boxes. It's been a while since I have had pullets so I have forgetten a bit. Thanks everyone for the help. I will keep you posted.

What do you mean a "couple of years"??? That kid is going to be spoiled before she's 1 Monty J came home from work I told him the baby was in the house and he said the "baby is here" and made a bee line into the house to see her. LOL
