    Tomato question

    I am in the process of canning the Romas that have finally come in and the recipe says add lemon juice to the jars. Can I use vinegar instead? I woul think so- they are both acid. I think for the finished product I would prefer the vinegar taste to lemon. How much vinegar compares to lemon juice?
