My one plum tree came and went with no bees, I tried to hand pollinate but apparently it didn't work. No plums on that tree.:( It was one that would require cross pollination from another tree so I borrowed blossoms from my Santa Rosa. I probably just don't know what I'm doing.:lol: Good luck!

Some pear trees are self fertile and some are not. If its bearing fruit I'd say it's self fertile. As far as being ripe, I think most pears need picked and then stored indoors to let them ripen. ?????

Hello, I was reading some of the ways of attracting bees to the garden area and was wondering if it work for the tree blossoms as well? My early season peach tree had bees all over it but now that all those blossoms are gone the bees have moved on.:( Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks AZ Bootsie, I actually went out and cut the tops off of some branches and peeled the leaves off others and left some alone. I guess I'll see if anything happens with the different branches.
