I actually have my asparagus incorporated into my flower beds and it looks real nice. I have planted in the spring and the fall and it has done well at both times.

I don't know about the pea thing but does anyone besides me find shelling peas so relaxing? I love sitting and shelling five gallon buckets of peas we don't have any this year and I am going to miss it.
