    I have wanted these for years but never bought any, but last year my in-laws gifted me some bulbs and they actually came up!!! I can't wait till they bloom!!!

    They are so pretty!! I am trying again this year! Last year I sprouted and grew 8 but some of them didn't make it to transplant. And I'm not sure if the ones I did transplant will survive the shock or winter! I've heard some people who plant buckeyes say they look like they might be dead but...

    No : ) I soak them for 24 hrs to soften. I am doing half in the fridge ( in the bags with dirt ) and half will be planted in buckets and outside for stratification. I tested it last year and trying again this year! The ones that were outside all winter seemed to be a little heartier.

    Thank you for all the info!!! I will definitely go ahead and try to get some started! So I definitely want to look for younger plants. The patch is a bit overgrown as they just moved in. Love to know I could also try the roots as well! I honestly thought it would take longer to get a harvest...

    My in-laws have black rasberry bushes but the berries unfortunately didn't get picked and have dried up or gone bad. Could I still get seeds from these berries to try and make starts out of?

    Ooo that's nice!!! I love magnolias!! They are my Buckeyes. They've been doing pretty good so hopefully they will be ok lol
