    I'm east of Missoula. Summer at it's warmest is about 110, and winter at it's coldest is around -30. Pretty dry summers, too.

    What's the best way to wash mint- or any herb for that matter? Will any of the taste be washed out if I just give it a good rinse?

    That's the problem my grandmother has, it's creeping into her vineyard. She and you should get Coturnix Quail, that mint I put in my aviary, all that's left is four stalks and now they're trying to dig it up!

    If I get a good amount growing over the rest of the summer, in the autumn can I just pick everything to have all winter? How do I keep it? @ducks4you , if you don't mind, did you say you make mint sauce? How? What do you put it on?

    I tasted the chocolate mint today. It tastes more like peppermint. Is it a natural thing, or was it bred from peppermint?
