it looks like a square part cut from a turnip to me.
my lone turnip of the season here might not even be a turnip but at least thee flowers are yellow so i'm just going to let it go and drop seeds all over. i have a half pound of bulk turnip seeds here i should scatter around but no place they won't get eaten by critters or mowed.
