I am PSYCHED now!
I just spent 45 min. in my garden with the fork and the ground is perfect. Darn! It's too early to really plant anything here yet.
I had dumped some manure/chips on the garden back in the late fall and I thought maybe I could get it turned in to the soil just for an excuse to did in the dirt. lol
I did find a little spinach that's trying to put out new leaves and a couple of stray onions that were missed last fall.
Any sign of green is welcome here right now. lol
I am tempted to take a few onion seeds and some spinach out and plant it just for the heck of it...what do you think? I am zone 5b right on the edge of 6

Sure, I think you should try it. Just think how good that spinach will taste. Besides, that gives you an excuse to go out to the garden and see if anything has sprouted. I have been gardening for many years, but the thrill you get when you see new shoots coming up never fails to make me :D.
