Yesterday was my GD's birthday party. She is 9 and loves to help me in the garden. Her Uncle got her a whole set of kid sized gardening tools with a carrying case, gloves, trowel, etc. It's better than mine!
When he handed her the shovel and rake that were just tied together with rafia she gave him the oddest look...turns out the poor kid has been at our place around the dogs too much. She thought it was a set of pooper scoopers!

:yuckyuck Now that's funny! Poor child...she probably thought she had pooper scooper duty. Being 9 can be tough!

She's got her first great gardening story! I hope she keeps a gardening journal and that should be in there. :D

Can I borrow her and her new "tool". I have a pretty fair amount to "scoop" in the kennel!
