We've been suffering through these depressing, smothery, foggy days lately and I have mostly planted myself on the couch in an internet stupor.
TOTALLY non productive!

So today I hoisted myself up and went outside to get some blood flowing. Took the camera too. It was good to just get moving, and I documented it all for your viewing pleasure!

Move along if your eyes are already rolling back in your head....it's not getting any better! :D

Very nice, but I'm cold now!!!!!! (it was near 70 here today, but not for long) I especially liked the second moss pic, and the hoarfrost w/ the seed pod.

Lovely pictures. Your hip (seed pod) looks like a hedge rose. The hips are high in Vitamin C.
We are in much the same zone, but have a lot more snow than you have. Looks like you had a fun day.

Thanks! Yeah, that's a hip from my rugosas.
Usually the moose come and browse them all off, but we haven't seen any this year.

I thought that was a hip, but not being a rose person I wasn't sure so didn't want to sound all official and be wrong. lol

How could you ever get bored there? The pony and goats are cute together. I love how they follow you. The goats even looked both ways before crossing the road. :) I love the moss and lichen photos. You do live in a very pretty part of the country.
