Actual benefits of fruit over vegetables?

Hi all, couldn’t really find anything online.

What are the crucial/beneficial parts of fruit that you can’t get from vegetables? As I understand it, fruit is similar to vegetables in that both have fibre and similar (?) nutrient values, except that fruit has a lot of sugar comparatively.

What would be the importance of having fruit, aka are there nutrients or benefits to fruit that you can’t get from vegetables/other low carb sources?

Please cite sources cos I’d love to read more into it, and understand if someone could truly forgo fruits if they get all the benefits of fruit from vegetables without the drawback of sugar. The only reason I see the appeal of fruit is for taste, but that healthiness wise, it is healthy but vegetables would be objectively healthier?
