I am getting attacked. These little suckers are completely decimating my garden. They are also attacking my butterfly weed. I need to spray somthing but it has been raining every day for a week now (and heavy heavy rain) so I can't really get out there. What are the chances for survival of my cukumber plant if I can get them under control?

Once it stops raining you can get out there with some insecticide soap. That stuff knocks them down in a hurry and does the least harm to predators besides being non poisonous to you. Safers is one of the commonest brands. You can get it at most nurseries and my local Home Depot also carries it.
