We got an airfryer last year to replace our deepfryer, so after 1 year I'm glad we made the change. We use it mainly to make crispy french fries, and just discovered how to make them from potatoes. :weee
Also we heat up snacks in it.
You could even bake a cake in it but I'll rather use my oven for that.
I haven't seen them mentioned here, do you know them?

We have a small one. DS and DB like French fries in it. I am not really a fan of the taste. DD and her husband have one and they use it for a lot of things, something about breakfast, but I do not remember.

We have had a tabletop model for several years.

However, the dome cracked after a few dozen uses. It is still usable and the dome seems both an expensive replacement part and a weak point.

It works really well for a roasted chicken.

It's not really a recipe, Jenx.

We like to use a product called Mrs Dash. There are a few varieties but it's mostly dehydrated onions, garlic, parsley, and black pepper. Extra seasonings can be added and it's all rubbed onto the cut up chicken.

The oven is turned on high and cooking takes about 15 minutes for each pound. So, a 3 pound chicken is finished in about 45 minutes.

Start skin side down on the rack. Turn over about 1/2 way through cooking time.

We take leftover meat off the bones and use in all sorts of ways. The bones go in a pot of water with things like celery and onion to make broth.
