Thistle's moose pic posting brought back some scary memories for me. But it was good therapy, I guess. It helps to know that there are other people that have dangerous animals stalking their yard. I don't feel so alone now. Here are some pics I have of a close encounter in our back yard. It was a pretty traumatic experience...

Do you see him??

I think I was lucky to escape with my life.

LOL, I think he was giving you the stink eye, Monty.

You need a cat to protect you!

My cat is the meanest little turd--bites me if I don't fill her food bowl fast enough and is always trying to scratch the kids and ambush the dog. But I tell you what, she is the best mouser EVER. Nearly every day I find a "present" on my welcome mat. I think she must be trying to endear herself to me. These shelter cats can have insecurity issues I guess!

Good-google-a-moo! You WERE lucky to excape with your life. If that little bugger had run up your pants leg, who knows how much damage you would've done before getting away.

Sorta like a bee in the car - I've nearly run myself off the road trying to keep an eye on where it went.

Our planet sure is special! How many other planets have this? Maybe no others!

Humanity's greatest sin would be destroying this.

That's funny Bay! I love Ray Stevens. But it wasn't a squirrel, it was the much more dreaded...chipmunk.

I guess it wouldn't be as bad a moose up your pants..or would it :/
