Alternative greenhouse - possible or not??

I love that tent...but I don't think it would be a very good choice for planting. I think you could get an "ordinary" green house and dress it up a bit, so it would fit with your garden. Welcome!
If you type in "greenhouses" on pinterest you will find all kinds of creative ideas.

Welcome, Chris! :frow

I don't know enough about running a greenhouse to answer your questions, but I'm sure someone here can. Can you tell us a little more about your winters? I would think a tent might work better in warmer climates.

Depending on how much money you are wanting to put into one, they do make some very formal and gorgeous greenhouses out there. Take a look at some of these... http://www.hartley-botanic.com/ One can dream, anyway. ;)

I'm planning to build one that is quaint and charming, like this...

Chris, post a picture of your garden and current greenhouse. We may have ideas about what you can do to make it fit in your garden decor.
