Deeply Rooted
This is kind of an obscure question but maybe someone knows...
I just *love* the green, still-soft seedpods of sweet cicely, to snack on while weeding or as a candylike 'snack'. They are like Good-n-Plenty candies, only green and they grow on a plant
The problem is that all too soon they turn woody and the seed matures. I know I can use the mature seeds like aniseed, but does anyone, by any chance, know of a way of preserving the candylike eat-the-whole-pod qualities of the still-green pods?
I am thinking maybe candying them, or freezing, or ????
