No, Hattie--you didn't hijack! :hugs Loved the pic! I also love my mint, too. SIL told me to NEVER grow it, because she keeps pulling it out. I wish other weeds were as easy to pull out of the ground as mint is. In fact, I wish it would spread more than it does. Has anyone here mowed their mint? I've read that it's supposed to be mowed down after it goes to seed, and that makes sense, but I guess my critters keep me too busy that time of year to do so.

Hi ducks4you ! :frow

If you really want more mint pick a few long stems & pick off the leaves. Then lay them flat on some soil in a flat seed tray, cover with more soil. water & keep in a sheltered area. I usually do this in summer to get a good supply of mint for my winter supply indoors. The mint will shoot from every leaf junction. I have to keep it indoors in the UK if I want leaves throughout the winter otherwise it dies back till spring.

Good Luck. :D
