Apparently...eggplant seedlings don't like....

I have eggplant and pepper seeds that are starting to sprout now......... I see 5 or 6 eggplant seedlings already. Once the first sprouts they all just pop up, one after the next.
I had the trays of seeds germinating in the boiler room since its nice and warm there. The seeds sprouted pretty fast for eggplants maybe since i soaked the seeds.

Is it ok to plant eggplants where I planted tomato's the year before? Normally I rotate peppers/tomato's. Hottest part of garden is where tomato's were last year.

They are from the nightshade family, same family as tomato's, so no you probably wouldn't want to plant them there.
