Well, that is certainly more elegant than my chopped and microwaved apples with raisins, splash of milk.
Beyond pizza dough, which I find impossible to make properly, I was thinking I'd never bought dough but I remember phyllo dough and applesauce ... DW does just fine with pie crust.
Sliced apples and apricot preserves sounds good.

I think they just need a little drizzle of caramel to top it all off.
