Are little mushrooms normal?

I was turning my compost this evening and found that I had these two-three inch skinny mushrooms growing in my compost. Is that normal or should I be concerned? I put pretty much all of my kitchen scraps, straw, hay, chicken and cow manure in the heap. It is closed off so the animals can't get into it.

Pretty normal... mushrooms like decay, and the spores usually seem to find a good home in places like mulch piles and compost. Its just the nature of the fungi. ;)

I shouldn't eat them right? lol

We have cow manure in there and a few of my friends joked saying that they were shrooms lol. NOT that I would ever do drugs! I just thought it was funny.

I am no mushroom expert... but I would NOT eat them. Unless I grew my own and knew exactly what they were and from where they came. I know people who are into the search mushroom craze... but again, I think they are CRAZY! LOL
