Here's some more pictures. It was hot today so the chickens were panting a bit.

Here is George, my buff orpington rooster

In this video a hen decides I'm too close and pecks my phone. She was promptly picked up and held as I snapped a few more pictures


Here's a vining plant that I hope ends up with some flowers on it since it's climbing up my porch railing


And last but not least is Fred my 'lorp rooster. He is my favorite chicken by far. I love the iridescent colors

I think your plant is a morning glory. I get them wild (or perhaps have been naturalized) in my garden every year. They are so pretty, but reseed like crazy, so I end up pulling them. But some always survive to end up blooming in the fall, a very deep shade of purple, lovely!
