Does anyone here have a well in their yard?
I have an old well(not in use) most likely put in when the house was built in the 1700's. Its beautiful, lovely masonry. I have been wanting well water for a long time, since our water bills are so high and it just seems like the right thing to do anyway.
Now, I figure it wouldn't take much to hit water since the well is already dug and they were able to access water at one time.
The family across the street put in a well and hit water at 11 feet.
Now, I am considering an artesian well for an option, maybe later on down the road due to the expense of it.
I could always do the regular well first and then upgrade.
Does anyone here have one and how do you like it?
