Azealas can I clip?

I want to start and azeala by clipping a piece off of an established one can I do this? and if so where should I cut it at?

Chose a twig that has new, bendable, green growth. These are the parts that have a lot of actively multiplying cells that are rarin' to grow, grow, grow.

Make the cut at an angle, and be sure to use rooting powder. Use as clean a soil mix as you can get. Take several cuttings because only one may actually "take".
