That was lovely. His grandfather and father's garden. His pear trees and he got a taste of them by his step grandmother's recipe. It put a smile on my face.

My earliest memories are of me barefoot, barely toddling, following my Daddy in his garden.

Coffee is ready. Doctor appointment this morning, then I'm going to Conroe to see my sister. I'm glad I have that little Hyundai roller skate for the gas milage.

 

[Gardening with Rabbits]

I have been busy helping DD babysit. I have a lot of seedlings started and ordered more seeds. I am going to try celery again. I am going to order the cow manure and this year I am going to layer the grass clippings with manure. Have some pallets. When the leaves fall add some leaves, but a lot of manure and then next spring I might have some compost.

I went for my doctor appointment this morning and i do not go back for a year. Everything looks good. He said my heart is strong and my surgery healed great. I feel strong and I can pick up the twins who weigh over 20 pounds now. Lucy is walking now and Penny is going to have to hurry to keep up with her sister. They are twins, but totally different.
