Wasn't quite surewhere to put this sorry if wrong place. I am in zone 5, have had a bamboo(cold hardy variety) in the ground for 2 seasons and it just isn't doing well. I was wondering if I can dig it up now and put it into a pot and try to nurse it back to health. Should I keep it outside or bring it in? I would like to get it growing well in a pot and just keep it that way. Would it survive winters being in a pot? Any advice appreciated. I'm thinking our winds are the major problem with it. Thank you for any help :)

Are you planning to leave it outside in the pot? If so I doubt it will survive. Plants have a much harder time survibing in pots outside than in the ground. The cold gets to them much worse.
