I am setting up a portable greywater systems soon near Dallas-Fort Worth, zone 8a. The requirements to be legal are pretty simple. I also found plenty of recommendations on soaps.
What I need advice on is the plants to put in my sub-irrigated planters. No root crops allowed. They need to be tolerant of the soaps, zero shade, and semi-erratic watering. I'm also considering hooking my current blueberry and apple barrels into the system. I like trees and shrubbery because their low maintenance.
