Yea! I like most all types of iris. I love that you are growing them around a pond. They do so well in damp places. I have purple and I have white Japanese iris. I did have a yellow variety next to my pond at one time -- now gone.

Mine didn't bloom last year, either. I think it was just too cold and wet. Got lots of blooms this year, but my black iris seem to be doing the best. They are really deep purple that you only see up close.

Glad they're back for you. Thanks for posting the picture. I was just lamenting that not many picture post enough pictures of their garden. When a comment is made, I want to picture the garden and know what you mean.
