every year at this time we fondly remember one of Mom's best friends who had breast cancer three times before finally passing away in her nineties, she beat it twice, had years in between these bouts where they said she was clear, but the third time the docs ran out of treatment options she could tolerate and she was tired of it all and said no more. miss you Pat! RIP

Thank you for being open about this. Raising awareness, which leads to catching cancers earlier, is clearly a good thing.

There was a sailing regatta last weekend for breast cancer awareness here. A couple of my friends raced!
