A gentleman at my farmer's market grew beautiful sprouts, and they were the variety called "Bubbles." I think pretty much any catalog has sprouts. If you're growing organic, maybe go with an organic seed source to that your B. sprouts seeds have come from plants adapted to those conditions.

Beav- we are harvesting brussels sprouts now. They are a cold weather crop. Our planting dates for them are around Aug-Sept. and they take anywhere from 90-120 days to mature. You may want to check when the best time to plant them would be for your area.
