Can these grow in containers or must be planted?

Still waiting for plants to die back....Some did, but not enough of them.
Going to be 78F, supposedly. I'm thinking of just digging them up and moving today regardless. I don't want to be freezing while moving plants...

Ugh, gotta dig out dirt to be able to fit in the irises....Was hoping it settled enough that I could just add on top.



Ordered some beefsteak tomato seeds and cotton seeds for next year!

Hot day. Got 4 beds done. 6 more to go!
Gladiolus all dug up, new dirt filled to brim, planted back in. Same with the lilies in the round ones. *phew*

Ordered more planters. Two will be for the bulbs I got that are the ball thingies and for some of the bulbs DH got for w/e reason.

Alright.
These forgotten irises got planted.
2hrs later, and the others that still had to be done have now all been planted!
Needs more dirt in the 4 in a row, but it'll have to wait a bit again.

Then w/e all of these were + the ones brought over, w/e those were. Lol. Lambsear had to be dug up to be replanted higher up.
Feathergrass seems to of survived, while other that should of, haven't.
