Here is my problem. I have several gallons of blueberries taking up space in my freezer. I don't have time to process them all now(going to make jelly and syrup) but was wondering If I could crush the berries, can them in quart size jars without sugar or pectin , and store them until later when I have time to make them into jam or jelly? Will they stay preserved without sugar or pectin?
