I made this cement rhubarb leaf to use as a headstone on my hen's grave.

I want to make a more chicken themed on, but I'm not sure what to do. Maybe with feathers? Chicken footprints?

That came out really neat! (Sorry about your chicken, though...) I was just thinking how cool that would look- when I was tossing some rhubarb leaves into the compost pile! Nice job!

:frow Hi Catalina :frow

I like that idea & the leaf looks great. Are you going to leave it horizontal or will you stand it up? I always put in a plant over my animals graves, something special. I am sorry you lost a hen -- it's so sad. :hugs

Those cement rhubarb leaves would make perfect markers & protection for roots for my many clematis -- I am fast running out of large rocks ......Hmmm!!

Hattie - That's a great idea. This one is only 1 foot across, but I made a really big one (using a garbage can lid as a mold) that's about 2 feet across.
I made some smaller ones too. They would make great plant markers, because it's very easy to write things in the cement.

I think I'll leave it flat - I don't want someone or something to accidently dig there. You can't see in the picture, but I have 3 big rocks underneath the leaf.

I wish I could get my cement stuff to look like this!
