I also bought 2 canvas gardening aprons, one for middle DD and one for ME, and my order gives me a free (white) apron, for youngest DD, who will probably dye it purple. Also ordered a pair of HD gloves for Eldest DD, who doesn't have enough and wears a larger size than i do.
Back in September I bought a pair of new gardening gloves for myself.
Ha, ha, I was wearing a pair of gloves with holes, so I pulled the new ones out of the bag. They are leather and synthetic on the top of your hand and they stretch and Breathe!
I went back, bought 2 more pairs for MYSELF, then bought 2 more pairs for 2 of my DD's who wear the same size gloves.
I also am getting a free pair of pruning shears with my order.
The sleeves are made from recycled plastic water bottles, and yes, they protect better than long sleeve on a shirt.
There is elastic at the top and they stay up pretty well, definitely protecting against thorns and other stuff.
