I’ve had coffee and been outside to do chores. Teaching the kids in Sunday school this morning. Preacher’s wife and I switch out every 3 months, they are out of town today, so I’m taking the class. Typically they rope somebody into teaching the kids and they are stuck with it for years. I took the class but made it clear that I’d teach for a quarter, then somebody else would have to take the class for 3 months and we would switch out. Nobody wanted it. Preacher’s wife got stuck with it. What a bunch of seat warmers! They are CHILDREN! Not monsters! They are fun, have lots to say and that bunch of seat warmers are missing out on having a hand in teaching children about the Bible. Losers.
I hear it's good to set boundaries...

Our lemon balm has become a very vigorous plant that requires periodic cutting back as it squeezes the sage beside it. Honestly, except that it is a rather attractive plant, I have no idea why we have it — making no use of it.
🤷‍♂️

Tastes differ, Petey'

I have a really large lemon balm in the garden this year. Hoping Steve might have some tips on what to mix it with for a nice flavored tea. I have the dehydrator going
When I am in the garden, I have a quart jar of cold well water. I add the lemon balm a few fresh sprigs. Give it a light lemon taste and keep it fresh and the bugs out of it....

Finishing my second cup of coffee. Then I’ll get dressed, do chores and take my oil spraying truck to the feed store for a thousand pounds of feed in a super bag. Feed store is an hour away. Then I’ll scoop it into 5 gallon buckets and dump in metal trash cans. Should have already been gone. Eh.

So that's like 60 buckets worth. That's a lot of weight! We keep our feed in metal as well after rats ate half a pallet....

When my husband was alive and we were on the farm I kept all my feed in dead chest freezers. We removed the motor, sealed the drain and put a paddlock on so that if any of the animals (particularly my Haflinger, the little devil) got loose, they couldn't nose the lid open.
